Hydrogen, research, collaboration
We are thrilled to announce that Elisa Baron has joined the ICARUS project as its first PhD student! With a Master’s degree in Materials Chemistry, Elisa started her three-year thesis in early December as part of the LICSEN team at CEA.
Her research, titled "Perovskite Devices for Solar Hydrogen Production," focuses on developing a perovskite solar module for the ICARUS project. Specifically, Elisa will work on designing a perovskite solar cell with an optimized carbon scaffold using scalable methods.
A key milestone of her work will be the fabrication of a perovskite module with a 100 cm² illuminated area, destined for integration into the project’s final demonstrator.
The ICARUS team warmly welcomes Elisa and looks forward to her contributions in advancing sustainable solar hydrogen production.
Welcome aboard, Elisa! 🎉
